MINUTES FROM THE HUNTSVILLE CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING HELD ON THE 15 DAY OF NOVEMBER 2018, IN
THE CITY HALL, LOCATED AT 1212 AVENUE M, IN THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, COUNTY OF WALKER, TEXAS, AT 8:30 A.M.
The Council met in a regular session with the following:
COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT: Andy Brauninger, Joe Emmett, Ronald Allen, Keith D. Olson, Joe P. Rodriquez, Tish Humphrey,
Paul Davidhizar
COUNCILMEMBERS ABSENT: Clyde D. Loll, Tyler McCaffety
OFFICERS PRESENT: Aron Kulhavy, City Manager; Lee Woodward, City Secretary
MAIN SESSION \[8:30 a.m.\]
CALL TO ORDER – Mayor Brauninger called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.
INVOCATION AND PLEDGES

Mayor Brauninger gave the invocation and led the pledges.
1. CITY COUNCIL/CITY MANAGER/CITY ATTORNEY
a. FIRST READING - Presentation, discussion, public comment, and possible action to adopt Ordinance 2019-07,
ordering a municipal runoff election for the purpose of electing an At-Large Councilmember for Position 2; single
reading required. \[Lee Woodward, City Secretary\]
Mayor Pro Tem Olson moved to adopt Ordinance 2019-07, ordering a municipal runoff election for the purpose of electing
an At-Large Councilmember for Position 2; the motion was seconded by Councilmember Davidhizar. The motion was
adopted, 7-0.
b. Presentation, public comment, discussion, and possible action to approve an Election Services Contract with
Walker County for the December 2018 runoff election for at-large City Council Position 2. \[Lee Woodward, City
Secretary\]
Councilmember Davidhizar moved to adopt Ordinance 2019-07, ordering a municipal runoff election for the purpose of
electing an At-Large Councilmember for Position 2; the motion was seconded by Councilmember Rodriquez. The motion
was adopted, 7-0.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Brauninger adjourned the meeting without objection at 8:34 p.m.
