RESOLUTION AWARDING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR PARKER
CREEK SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT, CONTRACT NO. 1104 EPA PROJECT
NO. C48- 1221 -03 FOR THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE
WHEREAS, the sealed bids so advertised for have been
received, duly opened, read aloud and considered;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE .CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE THAT:
Section 1: Contract No. 1104, Parker Creek Sewage
Treatment Plant, be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder,
BRYAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY of Bryan, Texas, ,in the amount of
$3,784,000.00 subject to EPA approval.
Section 2: With respect to the construction of the
proposed Sewage Plant, the responsibility analysis of Gene Pipes
dated May 12, 1980 and the letter of Patrick de Pamphilis dated
May 12, 1980 (attached hereto as Exhibits A and B and made a
part hereof for all intents and purposes) are hereby adopted
and shall be retained as an explanation of why the low bidder was
deemed nonresponsible.
Section 3: Morris I. Waller, Mayor, is hereby
authorized to execute the aforesaid Construction Contract in the
name of the City of Huntsville, Texas.
