A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
TEXAS, ADOPTING A COMPREHENSIVE COMPENSATION PLAN; AND MAKING
OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED THERETO.
WHEREAS Chapter 7 of the City Personnel Policies provides that the City
Manager shall prepare and administer a comprehensive compensation plan
for City employees to City Council for approval; and
WHEREAS the City Manager, with assistance of staff and consultants, has pre-
sented a comprehensive pay plan to Council for approval; and
WHEREAS City Council finds that the pay plan positions job classifications
on a salary schedule consistent with prevailing rates of pay for such
jobs and consistent with the duties of such jobs;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY
