RESO 1982-16 - Sesquicentennial CommitteeRESOLUTION
CONFIRMING AND ACCEPTING APPOINTMENTS TO THE SESQUICENTENNIAL
AND MAINSTREET COORDINATING COMMITTEES
FOR THE 1986 SESQUICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION
WHEREAS, the City of Huntsville encourages the active participation in
activities to promote and celebrate the Texas 1986 Sesquicentennial; and
WHEREAS, the City of Huntsville and the Huntsville Walker. County
Chamber of Commerce have joined in an effort to plan community events; and
WHEREAS, by way of this resolution, the City of Huntsville hereby approves
and appoints members of the community to coordinating committees charged with
planning and organizing these community activities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Huntsville City Council,
that the following members are hereby appointed:
