RESO 1985-10 - Adopts Capital Improvements ProgRESOLUTION NO. 85 -10
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS
ADOPTING A CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes its responsibility to establish
a long range Capital Improvements Program, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council intends to coordinate the construction of
public improvements in order to avoid duplication and
maximize the effective use of public funds; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Capital Improvements
Program at a public meeting held thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE:
THAT the Capital Improvements Program, attached hereto as
Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof for all purposes, is
adopted as a component of the Comprehensive Plan of the City
of Huntsville; and
THAT such Capital Improvements Program shall at all times be kept
current with regard to the needs of the City of Huntsville
and reflective of the official views of the City Council and
shall be reviewed annually by the City Council.
