A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, NOMINATING WILLIAM V. NASH AS A
CANDIDATE FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE WALKER
COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS Section 6.03 of the Texas Tax Code provides for the nomination and
election of a board of directors for the appraisal district;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Huntsville, Texas, that:
SECTION 1: The City of Huntsville, Texas, a taxing unit, nominates William V.
Nash for a position on the board of directors of the appraisal district.
SECTION 2: The mayor shall submit the name of the City's nominee to the chief
appraiser of the district before October 15, 1989.
SECTION 3: This nomination was authorized by this resolution of Council
adopted on this the 10th day of October, 1989.
