A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING ITS CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT RELATED TO AN
OCCUPANT PROTECTION - STEP PROGRAM.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Huntsville, Texas, approved an application to
the Texas State Department of Highways and Public Transportation for an
Occupant Protection - STEP (Selective Traffic Enforcement Program); and
WHEREAS the State has approved the application;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, that:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement
on behalf of the City with the Texas Department of Highways and Public
Transportation for an Occupant Protection - STEP Program from June 1,
1992, to September 30, 1992.
SECTION 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage by City Council.
