A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, ENDORSING AND
SUPPORTING THE CITY'S WASTEWATER
PRETREATMENT PROGRAM; AND MAKING OTHER
PROVISIONS AND FINDINGS RELATED THERETO.
WHEREAS The City of Huntsville has developed, pursuant to the Federal Water Pollution
Control Act, a wastewater pretreatment program including request for program
approval to E.P.A., a description of legal authority, an industrial waste
ordinance, an outline of the City's organizational structure and funding, industrial
user surveys, monitoring program and equipment, and specific limitations on
wastewater discharge; and
WHEREAS City Council held a public hearing on the wastewater pretreatment program on
March 21, 1995, for which notice was published in the newspaper on March 7
and 17, 1995.
WHEREAS City Council has implemented or fully supports and endorses all the program
elements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, that:
SECTION 1: The City's wastewater pretreatment program is fully supported and endorsed by
City Council, and the City has implemented or is in the process of implementing
all the program elements contained therein.
SECTION 2: This resolution shall take effect from and after ten (10) days from its passage by
City Council.
