A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE N.
B. DAVIDSON WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS
UNDER THE CITY'S WATER DEVELOPMENT BOARD SRF PROJECT
NO. 2912 -02 AND AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO THE
CONTRACTOR.
WHEREAS The City Council accepts the actual quantities and costs of the wastewater treatment
plant improvements pursuant to final estimate of Wisenbaker, Fix & Associates,
Consulting Engineer; and
WHEREAS The City Council establishes the warranty period for the improvements; and
WHEREAS
The City Council authorizes final payment to be made to the Construction
Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Huntsville, Texas, that:
SECTION 1: The City of Huntsville accepts the construction of the N. B. Davidson Wastewater
Treatment Plant Improvements (project no. 2912 -02) as constructed by the
Contractor under contract dated June 29, 1994, between Cajun Contractors, Inc. and
the City of Huntsville, Texas, as approved by final inspection of Wisenbaker, Fix &
Associates, Consulting Engineers.
SECTION 2:
SECTION 3:
The City establishes the warranty period under the provisions of the contract to be
in effect commencing on this date and to remain in full force and effect until
December 1, 1996, at 12:00 p.m. midnight.
The City Council authorizes payment to the Contractor of $1,321,579.00, which
represents the total cost of the project plus or minus all change orders.
