WHEREAS
RESOLUTION NO. 98-15
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, AMENDING ITS COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN BY THE ADOPTION OF A NEW FUTURE
THOROUGHFARE PLAN; AND MAKING OTHER
PROVISIONS RELATED THERETO.
The City of Huntsville adopted the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Huntsville by
Resolution 89 -7 on May 16, 1989; and
The resolution adopting the Plan stated that it shall at all times be kept current with
regard to the needs of the City of Huntsville and reflective of the official views of the
City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Huntsville, Texas, that:
SECTION 1: The Comprehensive Plan of the City of Huntsville is hereby amended by the
adoption of an amended Goal 2, "Develop a Balanced, Safe, and Efficient
Transportation System for Huntsville," including an amended Thoroughfare Plan as
attached in Exhibit "A ".
SECTION 2: The resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
