RESOLUTION NO. 98- 10
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, CHANGING THE NAME OF THE
PARKS ADVISORY BOARD TO PARKS AND RECREATION
ADVISORY BOARD; AND MAKING OTHER PROVISIONS
RELATED THERETO.
the Huntsville City Council is aware and concerned about the recreational facility
needs of the citizens of the community of Huntsville and desires to devote the
necessary attention to the existing facilities to assure their continued optimum service
to the recreation of its citizens; and
the City Council created a Parks Advisory Board by Resolution No. 82 -6 and revised
it by Resolution Nos. 86 -2, 96 -16, and 98 -06; and
the City now desires to revise those resolutions to amend the name of the Advisory
Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Huntsville, Texas, that:
SECTION 1: The name of the Parks Advisory Board is now the Parks and Recreation Advisory
Board.
SECTION 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council.
