7/21/15 Waterline Repair Scheduled on University Avenue from Avenue M to Thomason Street
City water customers on University Avenue from Avenue M to Thomason Street are advised that service will be
interrupted on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Contractors working for the City of Huntsville will be performing work on
the water line in the area which will require interrupting water service until the work is completed.
Water will be turned off at approximately 9:00 a.m. and remain off long enough to make the connections. The
work should be completed within eight hours.
We apologize for any inconvenience this outage may cause and assure customers that service will not be off
longer than the time necessary to complete the project. Patience in this matter is appreciated.
For any questions or concerns, please call 936-294-5700 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday
through Friday.
Update on other street closures
Sam Houston Avenue from University Avenue to Thomason Street will be closed today, July 20, and again
tomorrow, July 21, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for crews to construct a new water line.
