WHEREAS St. Paul United Methodist Church has been an integral part of Crabbs Prairie and
Huntsuille,for the last one - hundred and twenty -six years; and
WHEREAS five years ago, Pastor Rick Nance was appointed by the bishop to serve this
congregation, and has seen the church through its growth to the time to build a new
facility; and
WHEREAS with additional acreage from Bobby McGowan, this multi purpose building will
facilitate real and varied ministry to the community, expanding its reputation as
"City of Refuge"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBYPROCLAIMED, by the power vested in me as
the Mayor of the City of Huntsville, Texas that:
