WHEREAS the Huntsville High School Boys' Golf Team has won the UIL Region
111-4A Regional Boys' Golf Championship Team, the first
Regional Golf Championship for theaeam since 985 and
WHEREAS this is the 3rd consecutive year that the Boys' Golf Team has been one
of the top 8 teams in the state and competed at the UIL State
Tournament, and
WHEREAS team members Brent Baker, Tyler Belovsky, Ryan Bennett, Cody
Sammons, and Cory Sammons, Head Coach Marcus Evans,
and Assistant Coach Doug Shaw went to the 2010 State
Competition in Austin on May loth and Yirh and
WHEREAS the Huntsville High SchooiBoys'Golf Team}inished the tot o season as
the sixth place team in Texas for all of UIL class 4 -A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBYPROCLAIMED, by the power vested in
me as Mayor of the City of Huntsville, Texas that.
