WHEREAS the conferring of Eagle Scout is one of the highest awards that can be
bestowed upon a Boy Scout; and
WHEREAS years of dedication and commitment are required to achieve Eagle rank,
and Eagle Scouts act as leaders and role models in the community; and
WHEREAS Nathan Zeisig has made a significant contribution to the City of Huntsville
by assisting in the planting of more than 300 trees along the north side of
Interstate 45 near Veterans Memorial Parkway, beautifying our city; and
WHEREAS the City of Huntsville is proud of Nathan Zeisig, as he exemplifies the values
that make a community strong.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ITHEREBYPROCLAIMED, by the power vested in me as
Mayor of the City of Huntsville, Texas that:
Janauary 9, 2011
be declared: "Nathan Zeisig Day"
in the City of Huntsville, and call upon our citizens to join in the celebration of his
achievement, and acknowledge his special contributions to our community.
