A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT A TOBACCO COMPLIANCE GRANT FROM THE TEXAS
COMPTROLLER OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTS IN AN AMOUNT OF $3,000;
AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS,
that:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby designated and authorized to accept the grant award of
$3,000 from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts for a Tobacco Compliance
Grant (requiring no matching funds) and take such other actions as necessary in
relation thereto.
SECTION 2: This Resolution becomes effective from and after the date of its passage.
