City of Huntsville Police, Fire, and Emergency Management personnel are recommending residents restrict
travel this evening. High water, and downed limbs and power lines have created hazardous situations across
the community.
Emergency Management Coordinator John Waldo asks that everyone shelter in place until the water has
receded.
There will continue to be intermittent street closures around town as police and fire staff work to remove
stalled vehicles and route traffic around flooded areas.
