A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS WATER DEVELOPMENT
BOARD FOR A GRANT FOR FLOOD PROTECTION PLANNING; AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS,
that:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby designated and authorized to submit a grant application
and enter into a contract with the Texas Water Development Board for a Flood
Protection Planning Grant to develop a Master Drainage Plan for the watersheds
serving the City of Huntsville.
SECTION 2: This application will be for $120,000, including matching funds in cash and /or in-
kind services of $60,000.
SECTION 3: This Resolution becomes effective from and after the date of its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED ON THIS 4TH DAY OF APRIL 2000.
