A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE
DEPARTMENT FOR A GRANT UNDER THE COMMUNITY OUTDOOR
OUTREACH PROGRAM; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS,
that:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby designated and authorized to submit a grant application
to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for a grant under the Community
Outdoor Outreach Program and to take such other actions as necessary in relation
thereto.
SECTION 2: This application will be for $30,000, including an in -kind match of $5,000.
SECTION 3: This Resolution becomes effective from and after the date of its passage.
