RESO 2002-21 - Hike-Bike Trail Eastham-ThomasonRESOLUTION NO. 2002-21 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE DEDICATION OF OPEN SPACE LAND IN THE CITY FOR THE HIKE AND BIKE TRAIL IN EASTHAM-THOMASON PARK; AND DECLARING AN Et 1i ECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Huntsville, Texas has constructed a hike and bike trail in Eastham-Thomason Park and desires to dedicate an area of approximately 13 acres as an open space area; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS that: SECTION 1: The open space land contained in the newly constructed hike and bike trail and the mulched interpretive nature trail and land adjacent thereto amounting to approximately 13 acres of land as shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein is hereby dedicated as open space land, and there will be no permanent structures built within this dedicated open space. SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective from and after the date of its passage. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, ON THIS THE 6TH DAY OF AUGUST 2002.
