RESO 2003-13 - Approve landfill services contract with Polk CountyRESOLUTION NO. 2003-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
TEXAS, APPROVING A LANDFILL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH POLK
COUNTY; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE SAME; AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Polk County operates a landfill and the City of Huntsville desires to
enter into a contract with Polk County with regard to the solid waste collected in
Huntsville;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, that:
SECTION 1: That the L andfill Services Agreement attached hereto as E xhibit
"A" and incorporated herein is hereby approved and the Mayor of the City of Huntsville
is hereby authorized to execute the same on behalf of the City of Huntsville, Texas.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective from and after the date of its
passage.
