A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING THE ACTING CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO
THE TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT FOR A GRANT UNDER THE
RECREATIONAL TRAIL PROGRAM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
TEXAS:
1. That the C ity C ouncil hereby a uthorizes t he A cting City Manager to submit a
grant request to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for a grant of up to
$100,000 from the Recreational Trail Program;
2. That the City Council commits to provide an in -kind match of labor associated
with the fabrication of trail signage and installation of trial amenities. Value of
in -kind labor contribution shall not exceed $25,000.
