A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING THE LEASE
PURCHASE FOR THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING ASSET MANAGEMENT
AND FINANCE SOFTWARE PACKAGES FOR THE CITY; AND DECLARING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Huntsville, Texas (Lessee) has approved Enterprise Asset
Management Software and New World Systems Finance packages in the amount of
$1,068,000; and
WHEREAS, the City of Huntsville desires to enter into that certain Lease -
Purchase Agreement dated January 21, 2003, by and between Lessee and Government
Capital Corporation, for the purpose of procuring the asset management and finance
software packages. The City of Huntsville desires to designate Bob Hart, City Manager
of the City of Huntsville, Texas, as an authorized signer of the Agreement; NOW,

A RESOLUTION REGARDING A LEASE PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR THE
PURPOSE OF PROCURING "ASSET MANAGEMENT HARDWARE/SOFTWARE SYSTEM AND
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT HARDWARE/SOFTWARE SYSTEM."
WHEREAS, City of Huntsville desires to enter into that certain Lease-Purchase Agreements dated as of March 1, 2003, by and between
City of Huntsville and Government Capital Corporation, for the purpose of procuring Asset Management Hardware/Software System. The
City desires to designate Bob Hart, City Manager, or it's designee, as an authorized signer of the Agreements.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CITY OF HUNTSVILLE.
Section 1. That the City enter into Lease Purchase Agreements with Government Capital Corporation for the purpose of
procuring Asset Management Hardware/Software System and Financial Management Hardware/Software System
Section 2. That the Lease Purchase Agreement dated as of March 1, 2003, by and between the City of Huntsville and
Government Capital Corporation is designated by the City of Huntsville as a "qualified tax exempt obligation" for the purposes of Section
265 (b) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.
Section 3. That the City designates the or it's designee, Bob Hart, City Manager as an authorized signer of the Lease
Purchase Agreements dated as of March 1, 2003, by and between the City of Huntsville and Government Capital Corporation.
