A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS
PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT FOR A GRANT UNDER THE COMMUNITY
OUTDOOR OUTREACH PROGRAM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS:
1. That the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to submit a grant
request to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for a $30,000 grant from the
Community Outdoor Outreach Program;
2. That the City Council commits to providing a $5,000 cash match from budgeted
FY 2004 -2005 Parks and Recreation Program funds; and
3. That the City Council designates Patrick Antwi as the Program Official.
