A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS CHANGING THE
NAME OF THE VETERAN AFFAIRS ADVISORY BOARD OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 2010 -45 creating the Veterans Affairs Advisory Board was passed and approved
by the City Council of the City of Huntsville, Texas, on September 14, 2010; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 2010 -45 provides that the name of the committee may be changed or amended
by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Veterans Affairs Advisory Board committee has requested that the name be amended
from the "City of Huntsville Veterans Affairs Advisory Board" to the "City of Huntsville, Texas Veterans
Affairs Advisory Board "; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. The name of the City of Huntsville Veterans Affairs Advisory Board is hereby amended
and shall now be named the City of Huntsville, Texas Veterans Affairs Advisory Board.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective upon signing.
Section 3. The City Secretary is instructed to attach an executed copy of this resolution to
Ordinance 2010 -45.
