AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
TEXAS, AMENDING ARTICLE VII, RATES, OF CHAPTER 9, GARBAGE,
REFUSE AND RUBBISH, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, ALTERING THE RATES FOR REFUSE COLLECTED BY
THE CITY; MAKING VARIOUS FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED
THERETO; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS
that;
Section 1. Chapter 9, Garbage, Refuse and Rubbish, of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Huntsville, Texas, is hereby amended by the
repeal of Article VII, Rates, as presently constituted, and by the
adoption of a new Article VII, that shall read as follows:
Article VII. Rates
Section 9 -70. Residential Collection Charges.
Single family residential
pickup, minimum Charge $ 7.60 /month
Multi— family residential
pickup
a. collected without dumpster . . $ 7.60 per dwelling unit per month
b. collected by dumpster $ 6.70 per dwelling unit per month
Section 9 -71. Commercial Collection Charges.

Section 2. These rates provided for herein will be
effective on all bills rendered after October 1, 1982.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately
from and after its passage by City Council.
