AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILE, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY'S SUBDIVISION
DESIGN STANDARDS TO PERMIT JOINT METERING OF CERTAIN
CONDOMINIUMS AND APARTMENT UNITS; AND MAKING OTHER
FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, that:
Section 1: The Subdivision Design Standards of the City of Huntsville,
Texas, are hereby amended by the repeal of Section 601.5, Utility
Connections, as presently constituted, and by the adoption of a new
Section 601.5 that shall read as follows:
Section 601.5. Utility Connections.
The Developer shall provide individual utility connections of all
metered utilities for all dwelling units intended for individual
ownership; provided, however, that water service to apartment -
type condominiums need not be individually metered.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after
passage.
