AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF INTENT TO
EXCHANGE CERTAIN LANDS; AND MAKING OTHER PROVISIONS THERETO.
WHEREAS the City of Huntsville desires to acquire additional properties for
airport use; and
WHEREAS the City desires to acquire such property by exchange with a private
individual pursuant Texas Revised Civil Statute article 5421c -12;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, that:
Section 1: The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to publish
notice of proposed exchange of land in the City's official newspaper, which
notice shall read as follows:

Exchange of Land
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Huntsville, Texas,
proposes to exchange the following land with Northgate Meadows.
Site 1: I -45 Feeder Road tract, 9.978 acres.
Site 2: Northgate Meadows site, 81 acres.
Reference is hereby made to the complete legal description
of said lands which is available for examination in the City
Secretary's office. The City Council tentatively proposes to
authorize the exchange of such land in accordance with the terms
of this notice at its May 3 1983 meeting, or at a
subsequent meeting of the City Council, at City Hall.
Copies of the proposed exchange agreement are on file at
the office of the City Secretary and may be examined there.

Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after
passage.
