AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, RENAMING AND
REDESIGNATING 8 FOOT LANE, 36 FOOT LAND, AND 60 FOOT LANE AS
PATRICK STREET, JESSICA STREET AND JEFFRO STREET; AND MAKING
OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED THERETO.
WHEREAS: The City of Huntsville has recently paved three lanes in the
New Addition area; and
WHEREAS: These three lanes were previously known only by their descriptive
titles: 8 Foot Lane, 36 Foot Lane, and 60 Foot Lane; and
WHEREAS: The City now desires to name said streets after three historically
prominent Huntsville citizens: Mr. Jason Patrick, Ms. Jessica Justice, and
Mr. Jeffro;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Huntsville, Texas, that:
SECTION 1: The street known as 8 Foot Lane (as marked on the map attached
hereto as Exhibit "A ") be renamed, redesignated and called Patrick Street.
SECTION 2: The street known as 36 Foot Lane (as marked on the map attached
hereto as Exhibit "A ") be renamed, redesignated and called Jessica Street.
SECTION 3: The street known as 60 Foot Lane (as marked on the map attached
hereto as Exhibit "A ") be renamed, redesignated and called Jeffro Street.
SECTION 4: The City Manager is hereby directed to erect or cause to be
erected appropriate street signs to reflect the name changes.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after
passage.
