AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 4, ANIMALS, BY INCREASING POUNDAGE
AND BOARDING FEES; AND MAKING OTHER PROVISIONS AND FINDINGS
RELATED THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, that:
Section 1: Chapter 4, Animals, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Huntsville, Texas, is hereby amended by the repeal of Sec. 4 -30.
Poundage and boarding fees., as presently constituted, and by the
adoption of a new Sec. 4 -30 that shall read as follows:
Sec. 4 -30. Poundage and boarding fees.
The following shall be the fees charged as poundage and boarding
for the impoundment of animals as herein provided:
(1) For taking up and impounding, per head $20.00
(2) For the boarding, per head, per day $ 5.00
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its
adoption.
