AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 7, ELECTRICITY, TO
MODIFY REQUIREMENT FOR MAIN DISCONNECTS; AND MAKING
OTHER PROVISIONS RELATED THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, that:
Section 1: Chapter 7, Electricity, of the Code or Ordinances of the City
of Huntsville, Texas, is hereby amended by the repeal of Subsection
7 -7(f) as presently constituted, and by the addition of a new
subsection 7 -7(f) that shall read as follows:
(f) Every new service, except single - family residential,
installed within the City of Huntsville shall have a sw4tab4e
s4 g4e ma4e service disconnecting means installed bes4de eP be4ew
the meter can on the exterior of the building.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its
adoption by City Council.
