AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
TEXAS, TERMINATING ITS CURRENT RETIREMENT PROGRAM; AND MAKING
OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS,
that:
Section 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to give
notice of the proposed termination of the City's current
retirement program to program participants, the Internal
Revenue Service, and the fund and plan administrators.
Section 2: The City's current retirement program shall terminate
effective August 15, 1989.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage by
City Council.
