AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS,
CORRECTING ORDINANCE 2000 -15 BY RENAMING AND
REDESIGNATING COMMERCE PLAZA AS COL. ETHEREDGE
BOULEVARD; AND MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS
RELATED THERETO.
WHEREAS, City Council adopted Ordinance 2000 -15 on August 22, 2000, renaming
Commerce Plaza as LTC M. B. Etheredge Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, City Council desires to correct the name to Col. Etheredge Boulevard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, that:
SECTION 1: The street known as Commerce Plaza be renamed, redesignated and called
"Col. Etheredge Boulevard."
SECTION 2: The City Manager is hereby directed to erect or cause to be erected appropriate
street signs to reflect the name change.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
