AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS,
ADDING CERTAIN ITEMS TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS BUDGET; AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted a Capital Projects Budget and that all things
requisite and necessary were done in preparation and presentment of the Capital
Improvements Budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it appropriate to add to the Capital Improvements
Budget in areas of Golf Course Construction and Water/Wastewater;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS,
that:
SECTION 1: City Council hereby adopts additions to the Capital Projects Budget for the
City of Huntsville, Texas. Projects described are approved at the cost level indicated, subject
to the availability of funding of project costs from the funding source(s) identified for each
project:
GOLF COURSE CONSTRUCTION $ 410,000
(In FY 2000 -01, $4,490,000, was approved. This brings the
total budget to $5,000,000, the amount of the debt issue.
WATER/WASTEWATER
Construction Crew $ 214,867
Automated Meter Reading Project - Phase 1 120,000
TOTAL $ 744,867
SECTION 2: This Ordinance becomes effective from and after the date of its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED on this the 13th day of November 2001.
