LEVY Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Huntsville in Council assembled: - 2:hat there is hereby levied for the year 1920 on all real property owned zithin of Huntsville on the first day year except so much thereof as tution and lavis of this State, following taxes: 1e yin ad valorem tax the limits of the said City of January of the current may be exempt by the Consti- or the United States, she of and at the rate of fifteen cents on the one hundred dollars cash value thereof estimated in lawful currency of the United States for current expenses for the support and maintenance of the City Government of the said City of Huntsville. 2, tln ad valorem tax of and at the rate of fif" teen cents on the one ,hundred dollars cash value thereof, estimated in lawful currency of the United ;;fates, for the support and maintenance of the streets and bridges with- in and for the said City of Huntsville. 3, an ad valorem tax of and at the rate of ten bents on the one hundred dollars cash value thereof, esti- mated in lawful currency of the United States, to pay eux- rent interest on and provide one year's sinking fund to be designated as "Special Funding Warrant i`und ", for the pur- pose of paying the interest on and retiring the funding warrants issued by the said City of Huntsville on the first day of February, 1920. 4, jin ad valorem tax of and at the rate of twenty five cents on the one hundred dollars cash value thereof, estimated in lawful currency of the United States, to pay current interest on and provide one year's sinking fund for:- (a) : he cater works bonds of the said City of huntsville dated the first day of iiovember, 1913, the prin- cipal amount of which bonds outstanding bring the sum of (0500.00) Four 5`hoanaand Five Hundred Dollarse (b) To pay current intereo t on and provide one year's sinking fund for the City of Huntsville ;>ewer Bonds dated the first day of July, 1916, the principal amount of said newer bonds now outstanding being the sum of (019,500.00) Idinteen `ihoasand five hundred dollars; (c) :o pay the current interest on and provide one year's sinking fund for the City of Huntsville, Street Improvement Bones dated the first day of July, 1916, the principal amount of said bonus now outstanding being the principal sun of (y- 7,500.00) Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollara. (d) :io pay current interest and provide one year's sinking Fund for the City of Huntsville : Street Improvement Fonds in the sum of Seven ;thousand Five hun- dred (i'7,600.00) Dollars, and City of hunt sviile Sewer Bonds in the sure of rive �:housand (%0000.00) Dollars , said bonds having been authorized by u vote of the property owners voting at an election held for that purpose on the 12th day of epril, 1920. b. "n occupation tax on all persons, firms and corporations doing busineso v ithin the City of Huntsville equal to one -half of that provided by lays for an occupation tux due and payable to the State of i�exas. 6.
