REVISED ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE: ORDINANCE ADOPTING
THE CHAR TER :
Be it remenbered that on this the 4th day of Decembe_7
A.D. 1888, at the City Council rooms of the Cit-T of Huntsv-
ille in said City, a regular meeting of the City Council
was held, at which were present the Mayor and following named
Aldermen: F.O.Brown, J.D.Cl rk, J.L.Smith, H.F.Adikkes and
F.E.Markham,and two thirds of all the Aldermen of said City
voting in favor of the following ordinance, the same was
declared p-1 ssed and adopted:
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Rulatsville in Council A @sembled ;
That the general laws of this State appertaining
to cities and towns as found and contained in Chapters one,
two,three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, and
eleven, Title seventeen, of the Revised Civil Statutes, and
the amendments thereto, passed by the Sixteenth Legislature
of this State, approved March 17, 1879, and all other amend-
ments thereto, be and the sane are hereby accepted and adopted
as the laws governing the City of Huntsville.
Approved December 4, A.D. 1388.

on the 4th daffy of December, A.D. 1888.
