The Council met in regular session with the following members present

5:30 p.m. Call to Order by Mayor Green and recess into EXECUTIVE SESSION to discuss pending litigation: Billy Don
Carroll v. City of Huntsville.
7:24 p.m. Mayor Green reconvened City Council to take action on an EXECUTIVE SESSION item.
Councilmember Davis made a motion to approve and authorize payment of $70,000 from the Sanitation reserve to Billy
Don Carroll and the Law Office of Ray Putney as the City's portion of the settlement in the case of Billy Don Carroll v City of
Huntsville, et at., and Councilmember Matthews seconded the motion. All were in favor and the motion passed unanimously.
NOTE: Councilmember James was absent
7:30 p.m. Mayor Green recessed into EXECUTIVE SESSION to discuss pending litigation:
• Townsend v. State Farm Insurance; and
• City of Huntsville v. Sam Houston Inn.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Green adjourned from EXECUTIVE SESSION at 8:10 p.m.
