The City of Huntsville will host its second annual Haunted Hayride event on Saturday, October 25, and a special
volunteer orientation event is being held next week for those interested in taking part.
According to Natalie Reid, Recreation Assistant, the "Zombie Auditions" volunteer orientation will be held on Friday,
October 3 beginning at 5 p.m. in the City Service Center large conference room, and potential participants of all
ages are encouraged to attend.
"Our'Zombie Auditions' will give our valued volunteers a chance to see what they might be doing on the night of
the Haunted Hayride," Reid said. "Volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to, crowd and line control,
collecting tickets, managing the concession stand, applying make-up, completing set-up and break -down for the
event, and last but certainly not least, acting.
