The public is invited to attend the next meeting of the Walker County Historical Commission, where City staff will
discuss the function of the newly -formed Historic Preservation Commission.
During the meeting, Aron Kulhavy, Director of Community and Economic Development, and Main Street
Coordinator and Historic Preservation Officer Lindsay Lauher will discuss the purpose and goals of the group.
The meeting will be held on Monday, September 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the Gibbs -Powell House/County Museum,
located at 1228 11th Street.
