21-stan musial PROCLAMATION NO. 2009-21
WHEREAS, Stan Musial Baseball is the unlimited adult division of the American Amateur Baseball Congress (AABC) and includes college age players and re-instated
ex-professional players; and
WHEREAS, The 2009 Stan Musial World Series be held from August 12 - 16 and will feature eight teams from seven regions of the United States including Puerto
Rico; and
WHEREAS, The participating teams will compete in a double-elimination tournament consisting of a minimum of 14 games; and
WHEREAS, 2009 marks the fourth year the Stan Musial
World Series has been held at the Sam Houston State University Don Sanders Stadium; and
WHEREAS, The Stan Musial World Series consistently attracts hundreds of spectators to the City
of Huntsville;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY PROCLAIMED, by the power vested in me as Mayor of the City of Huntsville, Texas that:

in the City of Huntsville.
