Huntsville Public Library is pleased to present "2014's Second Harvest," a workshop led by the Walker Country
Master Gardeners in the Library's Community Room.
During the event, to be held on Friday, August 15, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., attendees will learn about the
advantages of a fall garden and how best to help it thrive whether the plot is above ground, in containers, or in the
soil.
As well, critical information will be provided on how to withstand and prepare for Texas weather fluctuations.
"Residents with even a casual interest in gardening will not want to miss this free workshop," said Linda Dodson,
City Librarian. "The Master Gardeners will share information and tips they have garnered from many hours of
classroom education and hundreds of hours in the gardens.
"A question and answer session will follow this fun and educational program, and door prizes will again be on the
agenda."

Handouts will be provided, but attendees are welcome to bring pen and paper or a laptop to take notes as
preferred.
