Based on the Mandalorian culture and characters found in Star Wars, the club invites cadets to join as an intergalactic training sergeant in fun challenges and training exercises. Additionally, the children will create their own original Mandalorian characters, complete with costume. The battalians will continue to meet once a month on the first Monday of every month at 4 PM throughout the year. All teens who created a GoAnimate.com account through the public library are invited to submit their work to be judged for prizes and shown at the Huntsville Public Library Film Festival happening on August 21St at 4:30 PM in the Community Room. Ready for Cool!" with activities focused around the first day of school. Family Movie Night Series Huntsville Public Library in partnership with Texas Children's Health Plan is offering a free monthly family night movie. Kids and parents can have fun at various activity booths, educate themselves on health and nutrition, receive free dental and health screenings and much more! School-aged children who attend will also receive a free backpack with school supplies while supplies last. Please bring a report card or enrollment form to receive the free prize.
