Beginning Tuesday, August 12, the Huntsville Public Library will again host free beginner and advanced Spanish
lessons led by instructor Beth Williamson.
"The Library is fortunate to have Beth Williamson -who has Master's Degrees in both English and Spanish —as
an instructor for beginning and advanced Spanish lessons," said Linda Dodson, City Librarian. "These classes
represent a rare and unique opportunity to learn Spanish for the first time or to build conversational skills. We
hope to see many residents take advantage of this opportunity!"
Starting August 12, the Beginners Spanish classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 3:30
p.m. in the Library's Community Room. Class size is limited so early registration is encouraged.
Advanced Conversational Spanish will begin on Tuesday, August 12, also in the Huntsville Public Library's
Community Room. Classes will be held from 3:30 -4:30 PM on Tuesdays only. "The advanced class is for

students who have previously taken Spanish at an intermediate or advanced level," said Williamson, who also
encourages beginning students to monitor the class for the experience and exposure." The Advanced
Conversational Spanish class has no student limit.
