MINUTES FROM THE HUNTSVILLE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING HELD ON THE 27 TH DAY OF DECEMBER 2017, IN
THE CITY HALL, LOCATED AT 1212 AVENUE M, IN THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, COUNTY OF WALKER, TEXAS, AT 12:00

The Council met in a special session with the following:
COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT: Andy Brauninger, Tish Humphrey, Joe P. Rodriquez, Tyler McCaffety, Keith D. Olson, Clyde
D. Loll
COUNCILMEMBERS ABSENT: Joe Emmett, Ronald Allen, Paul Davidhizar
OFFICERS PRESENT: Matt Benoit, City Manager, Lee Woodward, City Secretary
MAIN SESSION \[12:00 p.m.\]
1. CALL TO ORDER – Mayor Brauninger called the meeting to order at 12:05 p.m.
2. INVOCATION AND PLEDGES
U.S. Flag
Texas Flag: Honor the Texas Flag. I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state, under God, one, and indivisible.
Mayor Brauninger gave an invocation and led the pledges.
3. EXECUTIVE SESSION
a. City Council will convene in closed session as authorized by Texas Government Code Section 551.074 – personnel
matters regarding the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a
public officer or employee, concerning an interim City Manager.
The Council adjourned to Executive Session at 12:07 p.m.
11. RECONVENE
The Council reconvened at 12:43 p.m.
12. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Brauninger adjourned the meeting without objection at 12:43 p.m.
