The Council met in a special session with the following members present

CALL TO ORDER [5:00 p.m.]
Mayor Davidson called the work session to order.
WORK SESSION
The City Council conducted a work session to discuss options for the management of Raven Nest Golf Course, as
moderated by City Manager Kevin Evans. The following companies /entities presented their proposals: Palmer Golf
Management (Option 2) [5:00 – 5:30 pm]; Singletary Golf Services (Option 2) [5:30– 6:00 pm]; Traditional Golf Management
[6:00 – 6:30 pm]; and Parks and Recreation Board Recommendation [6:30 – 7:00 pm].
The Council requested that the City Manager, in conjunction with the golf course subcommittee of the Parks and
Recreation Advisory Board, perform an in -depth review of the proposals by Traditional Golf Management and Singletary Golf
Services and provide an overview and recommendation to the Council at the May 25, 2004 City Council meeting if possible.
