MINUTES OF THE HUNTSVILLE CITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON THE 12TH DAY OF AUGUST, 2003, IN THE CITY

The Council met in a special session with the following members present:

CALL TO ORDER [5:00 p.m.]
Mayor Davidson called the special session to order.
SPECIAL SESSION
Consider and take action on the engagement of Waters Consulting Groupto perform an executive search forthe position
WORK SESSION
The City Council conducted a work session to discuss fire station issues and the proposed FY 2003 -04 Operating
Budget.
EXECUTIVE SESSION [7:10 -7:55 p.m.]
The City Council will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Section 551.074, to discuss
employment, reassignment and duties of personnel at Raven Nest Golf Course and, if necessary, the selection process forthe
City Manager.
RECONVENE
The City Council instructed staff to implement the following personnel changes at Raven Nest Golf Course effectiveI
immediately: Shellie Sinitiere, Administrative Assistant/ Merchandiser, was changed from non - exemptto exempt status with a
$1,500 annual increase in pay; Eric Gubser was named Interim Golf Course Superintendent and given an increase in payto
$38,300 annually; and Ryan Polzin was named Interim Golf Pro and given an increase in pay to $39,000.
