MINUTES OF THE HUNTSVILLE CITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON THE 26TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1996, IN THE CITY !!

The Council met in special session with the following members present:

CONSIDER ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION APPROVING A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE,
SALE, AND DELIVERY OF TRINITY RIVER AUTHORITY OF TEXAS CONTRACT REVENUE BONDS,
SERIES 1996 ( HUNTSVILLE REGIONAL WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM PROJECT) AND APPROVING
AND AUTHORIZING INSTRUMENTS AND PROCEDURES RELATING THERETO
Mayor Green stated that the resolution has been corrected and is at each Councilmember's place.
Councilmember Holmes made a motion to approve the resolution approvina aresolution authorizing the issuance sale and delivery
of IRA of Texas Contract Revenue Bonds, Series 1996, and approving and authorizing instruments and orocedures relating thereto.
and Councilmember Rex seconded the motion. All were in favor and the motion passed unanimou 4v. [NOTE: Councilmembers James
and Matthews absent.]
Councilmember Davis asked for a review of the schedule of the project. Mr. Jim Sims, IRA, stated that construction is scheduled
to begin on April 1, with water anticipated to flow on October 1.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Recess into an EXECUTIVE SESSION to consider a real estate acquisition: land acquisition for the Robinson Creek
Wastewater Treatment Plant. [11:20 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.]
