Proclamation No. 2023-35
WHEREAS, Shawn Rainer has earned the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America Organization, Eagle Scout; and
WHEREAS, Shawn is one of only 4% of the Boy Scouts that achieve the highest rank of Eagle Scout; and
WHEREAS, Shawn has participated in Boy Scouts and serving the Huntsville community for seven years beginning his service in January 2017; and
WHEREAS, Shawn has reached many goals and accomplishments throughout his Boy Scouts of America career including earning his certification as a Boy Scouts of America Lifeguard; and
WHEREAS, Shawn goes above and beyond and has continued to make strides as a Boy Scout of America by earning a Bronze Palm, meaning since completing his Eagle Scout he has already received
five additional merit badges.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Russell Humphrey, Mayor of Huntsville Texas,
