RESOLUTION NO. 2011-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS,
APPROVING AN ADVANCE FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH THE TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE PROPOSED INSTALLATION OF
A NEW TRAFFIC SIGNAL ON STATE HIGHWAY .75 AT BOETTCHER DRIVE IN
HUNTSVILLE; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the State of Texas, acting through the Texas Department of Transportation,
has approved an Advance Funding Agreement with the City of Huntsville, Texas, that allows the
City to be responsible for $58,000 toward the construction of the State's project to construct a
traffic signal on SH 75 at Boettcher Drive; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
TEXAS, that:
SECTION 1: The Local Transportation Project Advance Funding Agreement for a
Proposition 14 Safety Bond Project on State System attached hereto and incorporated herein for
all purposes is hereby approved and Bill Baine, the City Manager of the City of Huntsville,
Texas, is authorized to execute the same on behalf of the City of Huntsville.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall be effective from and after the date of its passage.
