Proclamation No. 2023-7
WHEREAS, The Huntsville Leadership Institute (HLI) has served Huntsville/Walker County since 1982; and
WHEREAS, HLI was established to foster the development of community leaders from all segments of the Huntsville/Walker County area; and
WHEREAS, HLI focuses on leadership, community awareness, networking, and relationships; and
WHEREAS, The HLI Class 41 raised funding for the old stage at Rather Park to be removed and a new stage to be built for the City of Huntsville to utilize and bring exciting opportunities
to the downtown area; and
WHEREAS, The City of Huntsville is grateful to HLI for their generous contributions to the community, and we celebrate today with a ribbon cutting ceremony; and
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Andy Brauninger, Mayor of Huntsville Texas,
on this 22nd day of April 2023, do hereby celebrate with sincere gratitude,
